Lady in the Water

Synopsis

Lady in the Water is a fantasy thriller movie released in 2006. The film follows the story of a modest apartment building superintendent named Cleveland Heep, played by Paul Giamatti, who discovers a mysterious young woman named Story living in the building's swimming pool. As Cleveland learns more about Story, he realizes she is a character from a bedtime story that has come to life. Together with the building's eclectic residents, Cleveland must protect Story from dangerous creatures who are hunting her, in order to help her return to her own world.
