Reviews
LUNAR received mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike. On IMDb, it holds an average rating of 5.6/10, indicating a divisive reception. Some viewers praised the film's atmospheric storytelling and the compelling performance by Justin Zachary, noting that "the film captures the eerie loneliness of space effectively," as mentioned by a user review. However, several critics found the pacing slow and the plot somewhat predictable. Rotten Tomatoes does not have a critic score or audience score listed for LUNAR, reflecting its limited release and niche appeal. Metacritic does not provide a score either, which is common for smaller independent films. Critics often pointed out that while the movie's ambition to tackle existential themes was laudable, it sometimes fell short on delivering a fully engaging narrative. Overall, LUNAR is appreciated by fans of cerebral sci-fi but may not resonate with those seeking more action-driven space thrillers.
