Reviews

While 'Angel' may not have garnered widespread acclaim, it still manages to leave a lasting impression on viewers. The gritty portrayal of a high school student leading a secret life as a prostitute is both shocking and captivating. Some critics praise the performances of the cast, particularly Cliff Gorman's portrayal of the enigmatic streetwise hustler, while others commend the film's dark and moody atmosphere. However, there are criticisms regarding certain plot developments and character motivations that feel lacking in depth. Despite its flaws, 'Angel' remains a cult classic for fans of 80s cinema. IMDb rates it at 5.8/10.
