Reviews

Burnt Out has garnered mixed reviews from critics. While some praised Olivier Gourmet's powerful performance and the film's gritty atmosphere, others found the plot to be convoluted and the pacing uneven. Variety described it as a 'riveting character study' that 'lingers in the mind long after the credits roll'. On the contrary, The Hollywood Reporter criticized the film for its 'predictable storyline' and 'excessive melodrama'. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a rating of 58%, with an average rating of 5.8/10, citing it as a 'flawed yet intriguing drama'. Despite the criticisms, IMDb users rated Burnt Out 6.3/10, with many highlighting its dark and thought-provoking themes.
