Reviews
Forbidden Ground received mixed reviews from critics. While some praised the film for its realistic portrayal of the brutal conditions faced by soldiers during World War I, others criticized its lack of character development and plot depth. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 37% rating, stating that 'Forbidden Ground has its moments of intensity, but ultimately falls short of offering a compelling narrative.' IMDb users rated it 4.9/10, with many citing the film's strong visuals and action sequences as its main strengths. Metacritic was more forgiving, scoring it at 55, and commending the film for its authentic depiction of wartime camaraderie. Overall, Forbidden Ground is a decent war drama that falls short of being a standout in its genre.
