Hyde, Jekyll, Me has received mixed to positive reviews from critics and audiences alike. It currently holds a rating of 7.0/10 on IMDb. Some reviewers on Rotten Tomatoes praised Hyun Bin's outstanding performance and his ability to seamlessly transition between two vastly different characters, calling it 'a testament to his versatility and depth as an actor.' The chemistry between Hyun Bin and Han Ji-min was also lauded, with several critics noting that their on-screen connection added a layer of authenticity to the romantic subplot. However, not all feedback was glowing. According to Metacritic, some reviewers felt the series' pacing was uneven, with a few episodes dragging out unnecessarily. They also mentioned that the storyline sometimes got bogged down by predictable clichés, which detracted from its overall impact. Despite these critiques, many viewers found the exploration of dissociative identity disorder compelling and innovative. One user review on IMDb highlighted that 'the psychological elements were handled with sensitivity and depth, adding a unique twist to the usual romantic drama formula.' Overall, while Hyde, Jekyll, Me is not without its flaws, it has garnered a dedicated fanbase appreciative of its unique storyline and strong performances.
