Reviews
The Family received mixed reviews from critics. While some praised the stellar cast led by Robert De Niro, others criticized the film's uneven tone and predictable storyline. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 28% rating, with critics calling it a hit-and-miss affair that fails to fully capitalize on its potential. IMDb users rated it 6.3/10, citing the strong performances and dark humor as highlights, but noting a lack of depth in character development. Metacritic scored it 42/100, indicating a generally lukewarm response. Overall, The Family offers an entertaining blend of action and comedy, but falls short of being a standout in the genre.
