Reviews
Homo Erectus, also known as National Lampoon's Stoned Age, received mixed reviews from critics. The film's humor and quirky premise garnered some praise, with reviewers noting the fun and light-hearted tone. However, many critics found the jokes to be juvenile and the plot to be lacking in depth. Rotten Tomatoes gave Homo Erectus a low 17% rating, with critics calling it a missed opportunity for a clever satire. IMDb rated the movie 3.5 out of 10, with viewers criticizing the film's reliance on crude humor and lack of originality. While some viewers may find enjoyment in the outlandish humor and slapstick comedy, Homo Erectus ultimately falls short of being a standout comedy in the prehistoric genre.
