Synopsis

Locodol, also known as 普通の女子校生が【ろこどる】やってみた。, is a charming slice-of-life anime series that follows the lives of two ordinary high school girls, Nanako Usami and Yukari Kohinata, who become local idols, or 'locodols', to promote their small town of Nagarekawa. Encouraged by her uncle, Nanako finds herself reluctantly becoming a locodol alongside Yukari, who is more experienced and confident. Together, they form the duo Nagarekawa Girls, aiming to bring attention and excitement to their community through performances, appearances, and engaging activities. As the series progresses, the girls navigate the challenges and joys of their new roles while deepening their friendship and discovering more about themselves and their town.
