Reviews

Open Season received mixed reviews from critics upon its release. While some praised the film's vibrant animation and charming characters, others felt that the storyline was predictable and lacked depth. The Hollywood Reporter described it as 'a fun and fast-paced adventure that will entertain young audiences,' highlighting the film's positive messages about teamwork and acceptance. However, Variety criticized the movie for its formulaic plot and lack of originality, stating that 'Open Season fails to offer anything new or innovative in the crowded animated film market.' Despite the differing opinions, the movie's comedic moments and lively voice performances garnered some positive feedback. With its colorful visuals and endearing protagonists, Open Season manages to deliver a lighthearted and entertaining film for viewers of all ages.
