On IMDb, the film holds a score of 7.4/10, reflecting a generally favorable reception among viewers. Reviewers have highlighted the stellar performances of Amitabh Bachchan and Rishi Kapoor, with Bachchan's portrayal of the exuberant centenarian being particularly praised. The Times of India remarked, "Amitabh Bachchan delivers a heartfelt performance that reminds us of the beauty of life at every age." Conversely, some critiques pointed to a lack of depth in the screenplay, stating that while the film is enjoyable, it occasionally veers into predictability. A Hindustan Times review noted, "The filmโs humor and warmth shine brightly, encouraging laughter while also stirring emotions, yet it sometimes feels stretched and leisurely in pacing." Additionally, Metacritic users provided mixed feedback, resulting in an average score that reflects the filmโs contrasting receptions.
