Open Up to Me has received mixed reviews from critics. While some praised the film for its sensitive portrayal of complex themes and strong performances, others found the pacing slow and the plot predictable. According to IMDb, the film holds a rating of 6.7/10, indicating a generally positive reception. Variety described the movie as 'an empathetic, intimate portrait of a woman grappling with her identity,' while Screen International noted the film's 'nuanced exploration of gender and relationships.'
