Synopsis

In the French rom-com 'I Do' (original title 'Prête-moi ta main'), directed by Eric Lartigau and starring Alain Chabat, the story revolves around Luis, a businessman who is constantly pressured by his family to get married. Desperate to avoid their constant nagging, Luis convinces his single sister to pose as his fiancée. However, his plan backfires when his family insists on meeting his sister's entire family, pushing Luis to ask his quirky and independent employee, Emma, to play the role of his future wife. As Luis and Emma dive into the elaborate charade, unexpected feelings start to develop, leading to comical situations and heartwarming moments.

Reviews

Critics have had mixed opinions about 'I Do', with some praising its charming performances and light-hearted humor, while others found it to be cliché and predictable.
