Reviews
The Bronze, directed by Bryan Buckley, received mixed reviews from critics. While some appreciated Melissa Rauch's performance and the film's dark humor, others found the protagonist unlikeable and the story lacking depth. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a rating of 36%, indicating a divisive response among reviewers. Conversely, IMDb viewers rated it 6.1 out of 10, suggesting a more favorable reception from audiences. Metacritic landed in the middle, with a score of 44/100. "The Bronze offers a fresh take on the sports comedy genre, but struggles to deliver a cohesive narrative," noted one critic. On the other hand, another reviewer praised the film for its bold approach to exploring complex themes of identity and redemption. Despite its flaws, The Bronze manages to strike a balance between humor and emotional depth, creating a memorable viewing experience for those willing to explore its unconventional narrative.
