Reviews

But I'm a Cheerleader received mixed reviews from critics upon its release. While some appreciated the film's quirky humor and bold take on LGBTQ+ issues, others criticized it for its over-the-top stereotypes and lack of depth in character development. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 42% rating, with some reviewers describing it as 'a campy yet heartfelt satire' while acknowledging its flaws. IMDb users rated it 6.7/10, citing its unique premise and memorable performances. Metacritic awarded it a score of 39/100, noting its uneven execution but praising its message of self-acceptance.
