Reviews
Wimbledon received mixed reviews from critics, with some praising the performances of the lead actors and the charming storyline, while others found the plot predictable and cliche. Rotten Tomatoes gave this movie a 61% rating, with consensus that it "serves up a healthy dose of charm, but its lightweight ambitions are bested by stronger, smarter comedies." IMDb rated Wimbledon 6.3/10, indicating a moderately positive response from viewers who appreciated the romantic elements and sports drama. Metacritic scored the film 59/100, noting that while it has its moments, it lacks the depth and originality to stand out among other romantic comedies. Despite the mixed reviews, Wimbledon remains a pleasant and enjoyable watch for those looking for a light-hearted romantic comedy with a sports twist.
