Reviews

Fur: An Imaginary Portrait of Diane Arbus received mixed reviews from critics. Some praised Nicole Kidman's compelling performance and the film's visual style, while others found the storytelling to be disjointed and lacking depth. Variety remarked, 'Kidman gives her all to the role of Diane Arbus, bringing complexity and vulnerability to the character.' On the other hand, The New York Times criticized the film for romanticizing Arbus's life without delving into the darker aspects of her work. Despite the differing opinions, most critics agreed that the film offers a unique and imaginative take on the celebrated photographer's life, resulting in a polarizing but thought-provoking watch.
