Reviews

Despite a talented cast and a solid premise, 'Levity' fails to fully captivate audiences due to its slow pacing and lack of emotional depth. The film received mixed reviews from critics, with some praising Billy Bob Thornton's nuanced performance as Manual Jordan. However, others criticized the film for its overly melodramatic tone and lack of character development. On Rotten Tomatoes, 'Levity' holds a disappointing rating of 34%, with many reviewers highlighting the film's missed potential and inconsistent storytelling. Metacritic scores 'Levity' slightly higher with a rating of 45/100, noting the film's introspective themes but also pointing out its shortcomings in execution. While some viewers may appreciate the film's reflective nature and moral quandaries, 'Levity' ultimately falls short of being a truly impactful drama.
