When Leo falls head over heels for Colette, a woman engaged to another man, he embarks on an unrelenting quest to win her heart. The film explores themes of misguided love, persistence, and personal growth as Leo navigates awkward and humorous situations while questioning the boundaries of romantic pursuit. Filled with quirky characters and comedic moments, the movie blends heartfelt emotion with absurdity, ultimately portraying the unpredictable nature of love and the lengths one might go to find happiness.

Reviews

"The Right Kind of Wrong" received predominantly negative reviews from critics, reflected in its low ratings: 16% on Rotten Tomatoes, 30/100 on Metacritic, and a modest score of 6.1/10 on IMDb. Critics often cited the film's uneven tone and weak script as major drawbacks. Rotten Tomatoes' consensus criticized its attempts at romantic comedy, calling it "an awkward and formulaic story that struggles to find the right comedic rhythm." Metacritic reviewers echoed this sentiment, noting that while Ryan Kwanten's performance showed effort, the character development and narrative depth were lacking, resulting in an underwhelming viewing experience. Some reviewers appreciated the quirky humor and the Vancouver setting, but many felt the film failed to deliver compelling or fresh romantic comedy elements. Overall, it was seen as a missed opportunity that could not rise above its cliched plot and uninspired execution.
