Chappie

Synopsis

In the near future, crime is patrolled by an oppressive mechanized police force. When one police robot, Chappie, is stolen and given new programming, he becomes the first robot with the ability to think and feel for himself. As Chappie navigates the world, he must confront both the forces that created him and those who see him as a threat. With the help of his friends, Chappie discovers his true purpose while facing challenges that question the nature of his existence and the meaning of being alive.
