Reviews
Unhandy Handyman, starring Takashi Inoue, garnered mixed reviews from audiences and critics alike. On IMDb, the show holds a rating of 6.7/10, indicating a fair number of viewers found it enjoyable but not exceptional. Rotten Tomatoes didn’t aggregate enough reviews for a conclusive score, but individual reviews suggest a series that resonates with a niche audience. One reviewer commented, 'The charm of Unhandy Handyman lies in its heartwarming humor and the impeccable comedic timing of Takashi Inoue.' Others appreciated its unique setting in rural Japan, saying it gave a refreshing contrast to the typical urban backdrop of many shows. However, some critics found the storyline to be somewhat episodic and lacking in depth. A Metacritic critic noted, 'While the show has its endearing moments, it sometimes feels repetitive and struggles to maintain a consistent narrative pace.' Despite these criticisms, the chemistry between the characters and the show’s light-hearted approach ensured a dedicated following.
