Synopsis

Ship of the Dead is a 1959 film based on the novel "Das Totenschiff" by B. Traven. The story follows the journey of a struggling American sailor who gets onboard a German freighter, where he encounters a harsh, unforgiving world filled with corruption, greed, and despair.
