Reviews
Surrogates, starring Bruce Willis, received mixed reviews from critics. While some praised the film's innovative concept and thought-provoking themes, others found its execution lacking. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a rating of 37%, with the critics' consensus stating, 'Surrogates wastes its thought-provoking premise on a generic action thriller.' However, IMDb users rated it 6.3/10, suggesting a more favorable audience reception. Metacritic's score of 45/100 indicates a generally lukewarm response from critics, citing issues with the pacing and predictability of the plot. Despite the divided opinions, Bruce Willis' performance was widely acknowledged as a highlight of the film, bringing depth to the character of Tom Greer and grounding the sci-fi narrative with his charismatic presence.
