Reviews

The Slime People has garnered mixed reviews from critics and audiences. While some praise its eerie atmosphere and suspenseful moments, others criticize its low-budget production values and cheesy special effects. According to The New York Times, the film 'offers a creepy premise but falls short on execution.' On the other hand, Bloody Disgusting describes it as 'a fun throwback to classic creature features with a nostalgic charm.' Despite its flaws, The Slime People has developed a cult following among fans of vintage horror cinema who appreciate its campy appeal and unique storyline. Overall, the film's low IMDb rating of 2.9/10 may not accurately reflect its entertainment value for those who enjoy retro sci-fi horror.
