Reviews
Ah My Buddha!! has garnered mixed reviews from critics and audiences alike. On IMDb, the show has a rating of 6.1/10, indicating a lukewarm reception. Critics on sites like MyAnimeList appreciate the show for its humorous take on the supernatural genre, but often critique its reliance on fan service and predictable plotlines. Anime News Network notes, 'While Ah My Buddha!! provides a fair share of laughs and entertaining moments, it sometimes struggles to balance its comedic elements with its more serious themes.' Some viewers enjoy the quirky interactions between the characters and the lighthearted narrative, while others find the humor and story development lacking in depth. Rotten Tomatoes does not have sufficient reviews for an aggregate score, but user feedback suggests a polarized audience—some praising its charm and others calling it cliché-ridden. Overall, Ah My Buddha!! remains a show that can amuse and entertain, particularly for fans of ecchi comedy, but may not appeal to those seeking a more substantial narrative.
