Reviews

Heaven's Prisoners received mixed reviews from critics upon its release. While some praised Alec Baldwin's performance and the film's atmospheric setting, others found the plot convoluted and the pacing uneven. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a low rating of 16%, with critics calling it a missed opportunity for a better adaptation of James Lee Burke's novel. IMDb's rating of 5.8/10 reflects the polarized opinions of viewers, with some enjoying the film's gritty portrayal of the Louisiana bayou while others felt it lacked coherence. Despite the criticism, Heaven's Prisoners has its moments of suspense and emotional depth that may appeal to fans of the crime genre.
