Frasier lives with his father, Martin (John Mahoney), a retired detective with a down-to-earth personality, and Martin's physical therapist, Daphne Moon (Jane Leeves). Frasier's somewhat pompous brother, Niles (David Hyde Pierce), frequently visits, adding to the comedic tension in the household. The series delves into Frasier's misadventures in his career, romantic pursuits, and complex family dynamics, all while providing a witty and sophisticated brand of humor.

Reviews
Frasier has garnered widespread acclaim, reflected in its impressive IMDb rating of 8.2/10. Critics have praised the show for its intelligent humor and exceptional performances. Rotten Tomatoes reports that Frasier is 'a smart and sophisticated comedy that elevates the situational sitcom format.' Metacritic has given it a favorable score, acknowledging the 'stellar writing and impeccable comedic timing' of the cast. David Bianculli from the New York Daily News lauded the show, saying, 'Frasier is a perfect blend of wit and warmth, anchored by Kelsey Grammer’s masterful portrayal.' However, not all reviews were uniformly positive. Some critics noted that the show, while brilliant, occasionally indulged in 'elitist humor' that might not resonate with all audiences.
