Reviews
Hibernatus has received mixed reviews from critics, balancing between nostalgia for classic French comedies and criticism for its outdated humor. While some praise the performances, particularly that of Jean-Luc Reichmann in the lead role, others find the humor to be too slapstick and predictable. Rotten Tomatoes gives the film a rating of 6.2/10, with some critics applauding its charm and warmth, while IMDb rates it at 6.5/10, citing the comedic timing as a standout feature. Metacritic offers a lower score of 54%, with critics pointing out the dated nature of the film's jokes and characterizations. Overall, Hibernatus is a lighthearted comedy that may appeal to fans of classic French cinema.
