As the family's life unravels, they are forced to confront their inner demons and the supernatural forces at play.

Reviews

1922 received mixed reviews from critics. While some praised Thomas Jane's performance as Wilfred James and the film's atmospheric setting, others found the pacing slow and the horror elements predictable. Rotten Tomatoes gave it an impressive 92% rating, highlighting its haunting visuals and strong performances. IMDb rated it 6.2/10, with viewers appreciating the eerie tone and psychological depth. Metacritic rated the film 70/100, indicating generally favorable reviews from critics. Despite its divisive reception, 1922 remains a chilling adaptation of Stephen King's work that explores the darker aspects of human nature and the supernatural.
