Synopsis

In the supernatural thriller 'Gothika', renowned criminal psychologist Dr. Miranda Grey, played by Halle Berry, finds herself as a patient in the same mental institution where she works after mysteriously waking up to find her husband brutally murdered. As she tries to unravel the truth behind the murder and her own sanity, Dr. Grey is haunted by ghostly encounters and unexplained phenomena. The deeper she delves into the dark secrets of the facility, the more she realizes that reality and hallucination are merging in a terrifying way. With time running out, Dr. Grey must confront the twisted forces that threaten her life and sanity before it's too late.
