Reviews
Merry Andrew received mixed reviews upon its release. While some critics praised Danny Kaye's performance and the film's whimsical charm, others found the plot to be predictable and the humor to be a bit stale. The New York Times called it 'a frothy blend of laughter and song that will leave you smiling,' while Variety noted that 'Kaye's charisma shines through, but the film lacks depth.' Despite its shortcomings, many viewers have appreciated the film for its light-hearted nature and catchy musical numbers.
