Synopsis

Secrets & Lies tells the compelling story of Hortense, a successful young Black woman who sets out to find her birth mother. Through her search, she discovers Cynthia, a working-class white woman who has struggled with her past for years. As the two women navigate their newfound relationship, buried secrets and painful revelations come to light, challenging their understanding of family bonds and racial identity.
