Synopsis

In the year 1996, Los Angeles is a place of violence and chaos where crime lords rule the streets. John Spartan, a renowned cop known as the "Demolition Man", takes on the notorious criminal Simon Phoenix but ends up being wrongly convicted for a crime he didn't commit. Both Spartan and Phoenix are cryogenically frozen as part of an experimental rehabilitation program. Fast forward to the year 2032, they are thawed out into a society that has outlawed violence and swearing. However, Phoenix's evil intentions threaten to destroy this utopian future, and it's up to Spartan to stop him, even if it means resorting to his old ways of demolition to save the day.
