Synopsis

In the movie A Taxi Driver, set in South Korea in 1980, a German journalist named Jürgen Hinzpeter hires a taxi driver named Kim Man-seob to take him to Gwangju where a political uprising is taking place. Together, they witness the brutal realities of the Gwangju Uprising as citizens fight against the military dictatorship. Through their journey, they develop an unlikely bond and find themselves in the midst of chaos and danger.
