Reviews
Ares has received mixed reviews from critics. Some praised the film's dystopian world-building and Ola Rapace's intense performance, while others criticized its predictable plot and lack of character development. Peter Bradshaw from The Guardian described Ares as a 'visually striking but ultimately shallow take on the dark side of reality TV culture,' giving it a rating of 2/5 stars. On the other hand, The Hollywood Reporter's review commended the film for its gritty tone and suspenseful action sequences. Rotten Tomatoes' audience consensus for Ares is, 'An intriguing concept that falls short in execution. Ares offers thrills but lacks depth.'
