Reviews

Black Nativity, directed by Kasi Lemmons and starring Forest Whitaker, received mixed reviews from critics. While some praised the movie for its heartfelt performances and uplifting message, others found it lacking in terms of storytelling and character development. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a rating of 51%, stating that 'Black Nativity has all the elements of a powerful drama, but fails to fully capitalize on its potential.' IMDb rated it at 4.8/10, with viewers appreciating the soul-stirring musical numbers but criticizing the pacing of the film.
