Synopsis

In the 1957 film Campbell's Kingdom, based on the novel by Hammond Innes, a man named Bruce Campbell inherits a valley in the Canadian Rockies with potential oil reserves, which sparks a battle between him and the local power company. Determined to prove the existence of the oil, Campbell enlists the help of a group of misfits, including a geologist and an ex-convict. As they face numerous challenges and conflicts, Campbell must navigate personal struggles and fierce opposition to achieve his ambitious goal of reviving the valley.
