Synopsis

In the sequel to the original classic, Coming 2 America continues the story of Prince Akeem Joffer as he prepares to ascend the throne of Zamunda. Akeem discovers he has a long-lost son, Lavelle, in Queens, New York, and must return to America to groom him as the next heir. Along the way, Akeem is faced with the challenges of parenthood and the pressure to maintain tradition while embracing change. This heartwarming comedy explores themes of family, identity, and legacy while delivering a fresh perspective on the beloved characters from the original film.
