Synopsis

In the 16th century, a powerful witch hunter named Lord Edward Whitman leads a zealous campaign against witchcraft in a small English village. When he sentences a local woman accused of sorcery to be burned at the stake, her daughter Maureen invokes a curse on him. Unleashing the vengeful spirit of a banshee, a malevolent force embodied in the form of a mysterious woman, the village descends into chaos as violence and dark magic sweep through the lands.
