Reviews

Mummy, I'm a Zombie has received mixed reviews since its release. According to Rotten Tomatoes, the film holds a rating of just 25%, with critics pointing out that while it attempts to infuse humor into the zombie genre, it often falls flat. One critic from 'The Animation Journal' commented, "While the film's premise is intriguing, it lacks the depth and character development needed to truly engage viewers." Additionally, Metacritic gives it a score of 40, indicating mixed or average reviews. Nonetheless, some viewers found charm in its quirky style and humor, stating, "It's a fun little ride for kids who enjoy something different in the zombie genre." Despite the 4.5/10 rating on IMDb, which reflects a generally unfavorable audience reception, a handful of viewers appreciated its unique animation and the moral lessons embedded in the story. Overall, Mummy, I'm a Zombie serves as a reminder that not all zombie tales need to be dark and brooding, even if it doesn't quite hit the mark for every viewer.
