Reviews
Doubles received mixed reviews from critics, with opinions ranging from lukewarm to outright negative. While some appreciated the concept of the film and the chemistry between the two lead actors, others found the humor to be forced and the plot predictable. Rotten Tomatoes gave it a 38% rating, highlighting the film's missed opportunities for deeper exploration of its themes. IMDb users rated it 5.3/10, with many pointing out the film's lack of originality and reliance on clichés. Metacritic's score of 43 indicated a general sense of mediocrity among reviewers. Despite these criticisms, some viewers enjoyed the lighthearted nature of the movie and praised the performances of the main cast.
