Reviews
I, Monster received a mixed reception from critics upon its release. While some praised Christopher Lee's dual performance and the eerie atmosphere created by director Stephen Weeks, others criticized the film's slow pacing and lack of originality. Rotten Tomatoes' critics consensus describes it as 'a serviceable adaptation with a few creepy moments, but lacks the originality and depth of the source material'. IMDb users rated the movie 5.7/10, with some viewers appreciating its gothic atmosphere and Lee's performance, while others found it to be derivative and predictable. Despite its flaws, I, Monster remains a cult classic for fans of vintage horror cinema.
