'IGN' noted that the film 'struggles to maintain a consistent pace' and described some scenes as 'padded with unnecessary dialogue'. In contrast, fans of the genre have found value in its tense atmosphere, with 'Horror Society' praising it for its 'disturbing undertones' and stating that it effectively delivers creepy vibes. IMDb rates the film at 4.9/10, which reflects a divided audience, with many highlighting the performances, particularly by Dorff, as a strong point.
