Synopsis

Cyborgs, also known as "The Stronghold", is a Ukrainian war drama film released in 2017. The movie depicts the true events of the defense of Donetsk International Airport during the war in Eastern Ukraine. Directed by Akhtem Seitablaev and starring Viacheslav Dovzhenko, the film follows a group of Ukrainian soldiers who become known as the Cyborgs due to their relentless resistance against Russian-backed separatist forces. As the battle to hold the airport intensifies, the soldiers face overwhelming odds and must rely on their courage and determination to survive.
