Synopsis
- Spain under the Primo de Rivera Dictatorship. The great actress, Margarita Xirgu and her company are about to perform "Maria Pineda" by a young Federico Garcia Lorca. The Dictatorship cannot tolerate it, but the actress, Margarita Xirgu, in the name of freedom will stand her ground.
