Synopsis

In Rebound, Martin Lawrence stars as Roy McCormick, a once-great college basketball coach whose career has hit rock bottom after a public meltdown. Forced to take a job coaching a ragtag group of middle school players, he struggles to regain his confidence and find the joy in the game. The comedic journey reveals not only the challenges of coaching young, uncoordinated kids but also the life lessons that Roy learns along the way, including the importance of teamwork, mentorship, and perseverance. As he gradually embraces his new role, Roy discovers that winning isn't everything, and the real victory lies in building trust, inspiring his team, and perhaps, rediscovering the love for the sport that he once lost.
