Synopsis

In the movie "Sayonara" released in 1957, Major Gruver, played by Marlon Brando, finds himself stationed in post-WWII Japan. He falls in love with Hana-ogi, a Japanese woman, which leads to cultural clashes and challenges, as interracial relationships were frowned upon during that time.
