Reviews
Critics had mixed opinions about Take a Girl Like You. While some praised the film for its charming portrayal of the central characters and its humorous take on the complexities of relationships, others found it lacking depth and emotional resonance. The film's nostalgic depiction of 1960s British society and Oliver Reed's charismatic performance as Patrick received positive remarks. However, some critics felt that the narrative failed to fully explore the complexities of its characters and themes. Despite this, the movie's playful tone and witty dialogue were highlighted as its strengths. Overall, Take a Girl Like You received a lukewarm reception among critics, garnering a rating of 5.6/10 on IMDb.
