Reviews
Critics had a mixed response to Ten Little Indians, with many highlighting its effort to bring Agatha Christie’s classic story to the screen while also acknowledging its shortcomings. On IMDb, the movie holds a rating of 4.7/10, which reflects a divided audience perspective. 'While not capturing the full essence of Christie’s narrative, it manages to keep viewers engaged' said a reviewer from 'Rotten Tomatoes'. The film's atmosphere and performances, particularly by Donald Pleasence, were praised. Notably, The New York Times commented, 'It’s a valiant attempt at a locked-room mystery but lacks the tension of its predecessors.’ Other critics noted the film's pacing issues and character development but appreciated the nostalgic value of its genre. Overall, 'Ten Little Indians' appeals to fans of mystery thrillers, even if it may not fully satisfy purists of Christie’s works.
