Synopsis

In the movie "The Clique" (2008), based on the novel by Lisi Harrison, we are introduced to the prestigious Octavian Country Day School, where a group of wealthy and fashionable middle school girls rule the social scene. When new student Claire moves to town and tries to fit in with the popular crowd known as 'The Pretty Committee,' she soon discovers the harsh realities of popularity and the true meaning of friendship. As Claire navigates the challenges of the clique, she must decide whether to stay true to herself or succumb to the pressure to conform.
