Reviews
The film 'The Clique' received mixed reviews from critics upon its release. While some praised the movie for its portrayal of the complex dynamics of middle school social hierarchies, others criticized it for being too superficial and lacking depth. Rotten Tomatoes critics consensus stated that 'The Clique offers a glimpse into the world of teenage drama, but ultimately falls short of delivering a meaningful message.' IMDb users rated the movie 5.2/10, with some reviewers appreciating the film's fashion and set design, while others found the characters to be clichรฉd and the plot predictable. Metacritic highlighted the film's young cast and stylish cinematography but noted that the story may not resonate with all viewers. Overall, 'The Clique' is a nostalgic look at the trials and tribulations of adolescence, marred by its inclination towards stereotypes and glossy portrayals of teenage life.
